We have already played there a couple of times and the energy in that place is fantastic.
Speaking of history we will be at Danny’s Big Easy at 18th and Vine. We have played there once and we had a grand time. A great location with good food, and a few other live music venues within strolling distance. Now for some places we haven’t played yet, but are happily anticipating. Fat Fish Blue, a large new club located in Zona Rosa. There’s a nice big stage, house PA with a sound engineer, and a DANCE FLOOR. First class. Also we are booked to play the Marquee Bar and Grill in the entertainment district. The Marquee Bar & Grill is attached to the newly restored Mainstreet Theatre and to be honest I haven’t been inside yet, but I hear it’s very cool. They too have a DANCE FLOOR, and are openly promoting the use of it with free dance lessons before the shows. Please go to our schedule for more info on dates, times and addresses. I really hope some of these venues sound like something you’d like to check out.

Hey here’s something else I feel like sharing with you. If you know me, you probably know that I’m a huge Tom Waits fan. I’m also a recent convert to the wonderful world of streaming Netflix. While browsing the other day I stumbled upon “Big Time” the 1988 Tom Waits live performance documentary. I had never seen it before and I was totally knocked out by it. He’s got a kick ass band backing him up, playing a lot of my favorite songs from that period of his career. I’m giving it an enthusiastic recommendation. If you have found any interesting hidden music gems you’d like to hip me to, feel free to drop me a email. I’d love to hear about it.

As you old friends have probably noticed, we’ve upgraded our website. Yes, I know, “It was about time”. The old one had slowly fallen apart over the years. The calendar malfunction was the last straw. This will be an ongoing project. As you can see, it’s pretty stripped down right now, but I will be adding more content over time.

So whatta you say, let’s charge on into this new year and have ourselves a little fun. Are you with me?
